Out of responsibility. Out of conviction.
Out of responsibility. Out of conviction. Nature gifts us its aromas, its fruits, its diversity. We do not take these for granted, they are an invitation to act with care. For generations, our distillery has united craftsmanship with responsibility. For us, sustainability is no trend, but part of who we are. A conviction shown in small choices as much as in great changes.
Here is how we unite pleasure with awareness:
1. Regional cycles
Our raw materials come from nearby. From farmers we know and whose dedication we value. The shorter the path, the better - for flavour and for nature.
The heat created during distillation is not wasted. We recover energy from the cooling water, use it for hot water, and heat our building. A closed cycle, efficient and sustainable.
2. A closed loop, warmth preserved
3. Energy from the sun
Our photovoltaic system supplies 75% of our electricity and 100% of our heating and cooling. Energy for clear minds, a pleasant workplace, and perfectly cooled distillates.
What remains after distillation is organic residue. These go on to create biogas. Resources returned to the cycle.
4. From waste to energy
5. Delivering with ease
We deliver to our customers with an electric vehicle. Low-emission, quiet, and with the same care we put into our distilling.
Water is central to our distillates. We use only the highest quality and refine it further with the Grander method. Since up to 40% of our distillates is water, only the best will do.
6. Water in its purest form
7. Step by step, sustainably
Many of our employees, including Stephan and Renate Unterthurner, cycle to work. For them, cycling is more than sport. It is a daily choice for health and for the environment.
Gift packaging is reserved for our Premium range. Our cartons are made of 100% recyclable materials, sealed with sustainable paper tape.
And our bottles carry responsibility too - made with at least 20% recycled glass.
8. Packaging with respect - for nature and for pleasure
