The rowanberry geist is a true specialty, reserved for few distilleries. The bright red berries of the mountain ash are inedible raw, yet under the hands of our master distiller, they become a refined geist with extraordinary aroma.
Following traditional Unterthurner methods, the berries are macerated, distilled in a copper still using the water-bath method, and finally aged two years in stainless steel.

A clear, striking geist with notes of almonds, marzipan, and delicate spice. Elegant on the nose, dry and lingering on the palate. Perfect with almond pastries or enjoyed neat as a digestif. A true collector’s item for lovers of rare destillates.
